Frequently, when I try to change modes from my Android phone,

I get the message "Base station couldn't retrieve your modes. Please try again"

 

I don't have a base station. Not needed with Arlo-Q..

I would do a reset of the Q camera and test again...if it continues, contact Netgear Support
