Hey Arlo Users!
Alright so we are looking to monitor our 10k sqft building with an Arlo Q system... One of our issues is our wifi network.
We already use our wireless network for multiple laptops and mobile devices and I am worried that adding 8 Arlo Q cameras to that network will be too taxing... Is that a valid concern?
A reasonable solution to us seemed to be getting a separate / dedicated wifi router for just the Arlo system. Does that make sense? If so, could we simply run an ethernet cable from our current network - to a new wireless router?
Lastly, about how much upload bandwidth does each Arlo Q system need?
Thanks!

Each Q camera when streaming can hit a max of aprox 1.5Mbs
So yes it can easily put a load on a system if you upload is on the low end and you get 3-4 streaming at the same time.
On the regular Arlo cams there is a max of 5 cameras steaming at same time ( but that is a base limitation ) not sure if the Q follows that limit
The Q Plus cam can use ethernet and POE.... since ethernet has a max range of about 300ft , ( not knowing the layout ) that may be a better choice for connections over wifi ( a lot of metal in building ?)
