I've had my Arlo Q cameras for a few years now. Recently I noticed that my Activity Zones have disappeared and there is no longer an option to add them back. Now I have cameras that are alerting too much. Is there a way to get the option back other than paying for a subscription? I've been using the cameras like this for a few years and if the option was just removed and held hostage for money I'd like to know why.

Can anyone confirm that this feature was simply removed from existing customers who aren't subscribers? I would reach out to support but contacting support is no longer available unless you are a subscriber.

I can create and choose zones on my Q. Have you rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app as well as tried the web client?

Hi internetid626,

You will need to be subscribed to an Arlo subscription plan to use an activity zones. You can read more about it here: What are activity zones and how do I create them?

If I had this feature for years without a subscription, how can it be taken away randomly?
