I've never seen "Keep me up" anyplace. Which app? Have you rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app?

The App in my andriod phone has an option called "Keep me up-to-date on the latest new, support and more from Arlo".

My App you can find it, Settings, Profile, edit profile and scroll to the bottom. Mine is unchecked to not receive any updates, yet everytime I open the App Arlo advertisements pop up before I can navigate into my video. You have to click "No Thanks" to remove the Ad but it opens everytime.

I have the same option on IOS also. It is hidden at the bottom.

Obviously I never checked that before. I suppose it's something that could be displayed during initial account setup which is something I did years ago.

Try toggling the setting, perhaps with logging out and back in.
