Beginning on March 14, 2026, I observed that the live stream functionality on Pro 6th Gen 2K cameras stopped working, displaying a continuous loading (spinning) indicator. The issue appears to be isolated to the web application when accessed via a PC browser. Live streaming continues to function as expected on Android mobile devices.
I have completed all standard and recommended troubleshooting steps, including clearing browser cache, testing multiple browsers, power‑cycling the cameras by removing batteries, and re‑syncing the devices to the Wi‑Fi network (2 Gbps symmetrical fiber‑optic connection). These actions did not resolve the issue.
The problem was reported to Support and subsequently escalated to higher‑tier support, with a support ticket opened for investigation. As of March 19, 2026, there has been no update or resolution provided.

You should now see improvement with the behavior you were seeing. Can you please let me know if you notice the difference throughout the day?

....but still works from mobile app. "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again" I've had it out of commission for a few months and just brought it back online. I've rebooted smart hub (VMB5000), deleted and reinstalled the camera and still the same issue. I monitor my cameras from the web browser 98% of the time. Rarely on mobile app. Thought?

I can no longer log into any of my Arlo Cameras live anymore on my pc using browsers. They are Essential XL 2K Wireless Security Camera, HardwareVMC3052Aer1.4 Firmware 1.8.2_2318_bb2940a. I have 4 others some 3rd gen while other are 2nd gen.
I have cleared out all cache, cookies, data, even re-setted Chrome, and cleared out all data and cache, re-booted pc, I have even tested this on MS Edge and also on Firefox, same results. Also I have re-started all the cameras and same result, can not connect live. For the heck of it, I removed one of my cameras off the account and added it back in same results.
Now as far as using the phone, app it works fine, i can log into any camera faster than you can blink an eye, just using desktop way on pc is the issue, worked great and no issues until 3 updates back.
Running windows 11
Any known issues as this for pc version?

The cameras used to work fine until recently.
- When the "Arm Away" mode is engaged, the last saved screenshot will appear with the Play button on the dashboard widget. Pressing the Play button will start the wheel but the camera will not go live and will eventually time out. It will then revert to the Play button with the same old screenshot.
- When trying to view the livestream from a desktop, an exclamation mark will appear right away "Unrecognized error to play stream."
- Note that switching from the "Arm Home" mode to the "Arm Away" mode from the desktop will still show the "Privacy Shield Closed / Open & Go Live" widgets on the phone app dashboard, even with the app reporting the motion detections...
- Disabling and re-Enabling the camera doesn't help.
- If I go to Device Settings / Video Settings, the camera will take and display a live snapshot.
- The cameras will detect movement, record the video, and show it in the feed (the notifications are sometime delayed, but the timestamp is correct). Pressing the "View Live Camera" link leads to the same timeout issue than with the dashboard.
- Playing the video in the feed will eventually update the dashboard with the latest screenshot from the feed.
- When the "Arm Home" mode is engaged, the dashboard will show the black screen with the "Privacy Shield Closed" and the "Open & Go Live" button. Pressing the button will start the wheel until it times out and revert to the black screen.
I have restarted the cameras from the app and restarted my phone: No change.

I'm experiencing the same issue that appeared 2 days ago on Pro 6th Gen cameras using Chrome. I've reset each camera and ensured firmware is updated, cleared the browser cache, tried other browsers and the result is the same as on Chrome. Similar issue today on the app on Android.
Yet another bug in this app where we, the end users, are being used as beta testers; this is getting old and I've been a Arlo customer since the mid-2000's.
@ShayneS please contact programming for an update on resolution.

Hi @ShayneS
Any update on a fix from development?
I'm paying for the premium subscription as a long time end user however, since the release of the new app and features it isn't worth the price.

@BTG Clear cache and storage on your app; this should solve the problem.

@Edinburgh_lad1
As an original Netgear Arlo end user of nearly 14 years starting with the original camera with the cr123 batteries and upgraded throughout the years to now with the Pro 6th gen released in Q4 2025 clearing the cache rarely solves issues. This is an Arlo programming issue as reported where I've submitted at least 6 firmware issues since the release of this new app.

Have you uninstalled and then reinstalled the app on your iPhone?

I have and it didn't make a difference.
It would also not explain why the livestream would not work from my desktop either (Windows 10 Pro 22H2), unless those are two different issues.

I've submitted to support with a support ticket of this similar issue unable to live stream. I've also posted in 2 other forum posts where others are experiencing same issue.
While troubleshooting showed this issue is isolated to web app in browser no matter which one. Live stream works as designed on mobile with and Android.

Arlo online account will not bring up live feed on any of my cameras. Worked before and works on my app, but not on the computer online.
