Beginning on March 14, 2026, I observed that the live stream functionality on Pro 6th Gen 2K cameras stopped working, displaying a continuous loading (spinning) indicator. The issue appears to be isolated to the web application when accessed via a PC browser. Live streaming continues to function as expected on Android mobile devices.

I have completed all standard and recommended troubleshooting steps, including clearing browser cache, testing multiple browsers, power‑cycling the cameras by removing batteries, and re‑syncing the devices to the Wi‑Fi network (2 Gbps symmetrical fiber‑optic connection). These actions did not resolve the issue.

The problem was reported to Support and subsequently escalated to higher‑tier support, with a support ticket opened for investigation. As of March 19, 2026, there has been no update or resolution provided.

You should now see improvement with the behavior you were seeing. Can you please let me know if you notice the difference throughout the day?

@BrookeN Did development provide you with an explanation?

There were some intermittent streaming issues, we were able to change a setting in the back end that resolved what you were seeing.

@BrookeN Thanks! Still not able to live stream when a recording is taking place.

To live stream while recording you would need a CVR subscription. You have the Premium subscription, however the CVR is different. It is a separate plan as of now. however April 1st that will be changing. Please see below:

@BrookeN Thanks. I'm aware of the local recording option. What is interesting is when you advised to test live streaming last week the system was actively recording while I went live and this function worked...as it did before the release of this new app last year.

I same the exact same problem with live streaming from the web app. What changed?

Since the release of this untested app all I've encountered are issue after issue where I report them to support which are eventually fixed. Having SaaS programming experience it seems Arlo is releasing updates to the firmware without internal beta testing where us, as end users are being used as the ginny pigs. There are no release notes with known issues etc. Very frustrating.

UPDATE:

The livestreaming seems to be working again with the Arlo 6.20.0 (21034) app on iPhone iOS 26.4

As of this date live feed is still not working. Works fine on mobile app.  Time to de-invest in Arlo after 10 years.

This was regarding live streaming on the app. Are you seeing this on your web browser? If so, what browser are you seeing this behavior on?

Browser(s) Doesn't matter which one.   My computer has all the right settings as well.  It used to work
Essential 2K Wireless Security Cameras
Hardware - VMC3050Aer1.4

Firmware - 1.8.2_2318_bb2940a
Works fine from the phone app.
Tested on multiple computers - same results

Issue is replicated using Chrome and Edge browsers. I have an open ticket with CS for this issue.

I have tried Chrome, Vivaldi, Safari, and Edge

My doorbell cam livestreams, none of my Essential XL cams do. All of the XLs are connected to solar panels.
