Bought new arlo pro and 3 hours try to connect the base and it doesn’t go…done a reset and other stuff still same **bleep**…so i need to scrap it?

It is akin to buying a new antique car and the manufacturer tells you the motor will not turn over so the motor must be seased.

What you can try with the PRO camera is a manual sync.  ( not thru the app/prgm )

 

Pull battery on camera and reinstall ( make sure the camera blinks once after battery in )

quickly press base sync button ( led will flash slow )

pres the camera sync button ( camera led will flash slow )

if camera goes from slow flash to fast it worked.

 

 

I may just be the camera is older and didn't get the updates in FW over time. In which case it may not function.

Tho EOL, it should function if FW was updated properly.

The problem is that the base not connecting to app
