HELP! I have it set for 12 hrs. How can I fix it and make it record for all 12 hours?

There's no setting to have it record for 12 hours. I think you're using live view and possibly manually recording. Live view automatically turns off at ~30 minutes since these are battery-operated cameras and the batteries would run out long before you got to 12 hours.

So you've told me what I CAN'T do but not how to fix it...or how to change it and set it up to record over a period of time?
I want to record for several hours at night, can I do that? or at least see motion if someone is near my front door?

We would be interested in how you initially set it to 12 hours. The more details we have, the better we can help.
There's no way to record that long without 1) AC-powering your camera and 2) subscribing to CVR. However, CVR doesn't give you a video to download - it's a way to review what happened. You can use third party screen capture software to capture what you're watching for your own purposes but it's at 1x speed.

No it still didn't fix mt issue. I set up my "schedule" and when I click on it, I'm still in MANUAL mode.
I'm not sure why or how to change that...
I also can't see any of the supposedly captured movies, when I click on them for review, they say they are not there.
