I went to the mailbox to get the mail it only showed me returning, why? My dog and a man was out in front didn't pick up neither one of them, why?

Where is this camera located on the property? Do you know if the camera/base station is updated to the latest firmware? Is this issue a new occurrence or has it been happening for some time?

Most likely camera angle and sensitivity setting. Arlo records heat signature moving across field of view. Anything moving directly toward the camera or away from it, may not record until it is significantly changes size. If the sensitivity is set at or below default, this exacerbates the lack of triggering on motion toward or away in direct line. Setting the camera at an angle to most used paths is best, then tweaking sensitivity for that particular placement.
