Upgraded Router Wifi

Went from Netgear R6200v2 to the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (model R7000)

Plugged Arlo back in.  Cameras would not connect.

Detached and re-attached Camera (Pro version)

Camera connected, but then when moved away from Based unit (VMB4000r3) , they disconnected.

Removed based station, re-install.

Removed Cameras, re-install.

Same thing.  Connected when cameras were near base unit.  When moved away, disconnected.

Moved based unit further away from Wifi.  Now at 92" away.

Detached all devices and re-did install again on all devices.

Same thing.  When camera moves more than about 3 feet from base, drops from network.

Ideas?

Any other 2.4GHz devices of any sort nearby? If not, do you have a switch or extender that you could attach the base to to move it further from the router?

Nothing other than the WiFi Router 90+ inches away.

I have an extra extender that I can try placement of the base elsewhere.

Will try and report back. Thanks.

Tried the wifi extender.

Moved based unit to differnt floor in house / opposite end of where my regular wifi/router is. Well away to prevent wifi traffic/congestion.

Set up Arlo base and camera again.

Same issue.  Move about 5 feet from base. Camera does not stay connected.

Tried different camera. Same thing.  Does not appear to be Camera related issue.
