Audio will not shut off on one camera. It records all the time. The microphone if off and audio detection is unchecked. The  Mode tells the system to do nothing if sound is detected. I also get an overdose of alerts to the point I do not even look anymore.

Could be a bad camera but first turn the base off and on. Reinsert the camera battery to reset the camera. If the same thing, try removing the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync.

Did the recommended advice work as I also have 2 out of my 4 cameras that continue to record audio. I even deselect the device and get out of the app but I can still hear the audio coming through my device. What is going on Arlo?

Turning the camera off then on again did not correct the problem. I reseated the battery as well.  I have not removed the device from the base station and re-synchronized. The air temperature has been 0 degree F for the past couple of days and the cameras are only operational intermittently. It is 2 degrees F now and only two cameras are operational.  I have the fussy one shut off and I just brought it inside to warm up. I will update you once I get the chance to try to re-synchroniz.

If you are using Smartthings you need to use "armed" instead of "smartthings".  When my mode was on ST it would reset the Audio detection to "ON' after every vision mode detection.  It would also change the name back to the serial number...failed integration..for which ST and Netgear want to "own".

I am not sure what "smartthings" is/are so I guess that means I am not using it. The camer's microphone is not defaulting to on. The camera settings have the microphone slider to off. I also took away record if audio is detected in mode. The system is still recording video on audio detection. The result is hundreds of clips even through one night on audio detection alone.

Thanks for the reply Julie. Temperature is not my problem as it is currently in the range of 25-35 Celsius. I also do not use Smartrhings so not the problem here. Even when I turn the cameras off in Device Settings, I can still hear the audio from the camera. Can any Arlo techo’s help here? Is this a software issue or is it likely that msJulie00 and I have problem cameras?

All you can try to do is to remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync. If you still have the same problem, open a case with support here. It may be a bad camera.
