I have the 4 Arlo pro cameras and I seem to always have a problem when charging them. I have purchased the power adapter and everything was working fine until it started telling me the power source is not compatible and when it decides to charge, it does it for like a few minutes and then no more charge. This is frustrating. I paid 700 USD for this set of cameras And it was a total waste of money, time AND effort. Horrible. I can't even return them that's the worse part. I even tried swapping out the batteries to no avail. I even swapped the camera itself. Disappointing Netgear

I believe Netgear is aware of this and working on a fix... other than that, got nothing

Deedee518,

What power adapter did you purchase? Third-party power adapters are not recommended and may cause issues like you describe.

Is the power adapter you're using the Arlo branded VMA4700 found here: Outdoor Power Adapter (VMA4700)

Yes its the arlo ones I purchased. It's unreal how these cameras are total crap. The Charger is fine in one camera but not the other. It makes no sense

Deedee518,

Does the problem camera behave the same way with the original charger that was included with your Arlo kit (standard indoor wall plug/usb cable)?

I have the same problem, one of my ARLO Pro cameras will not charge with Netfear ARLO Pro Charging cable. It shows that it is plugged in but continues to discharge.

Either the camera or battery is bad. Swap at the store or open a case with support here.

As with all the other suggestions all over these forums, don't beat your head against a wall.If it's a hardware issue either swap at the store or open a case with support.
