Our outside camera’s image changed from a normal looking picture to a picture with too much purple, then too much red, and then to black and white. We changed it out with an indoor camera that had a perfect image and now both cameras images are in black and white. Our two other outside cameras have perfect images. We tried opening the battery door, taking the batteries out, and putting them back in but that did not help. Our system is for indoor/outdoor and our outdoor cameras have the black silicon protective covers. What else can we do to correct this problem?

The B/W issue is dependant on the amount of light for the camera... it will auto change to b/w if light levels fall.

As to the "red" ... this is a common issue that pops up now and then with the Arlo cameras... there is a filter that drops into place at low light... usu if you remove/ reolace the batteries, it will reset...Sometimes not.

GENTLY tap/rap tha camera on a table to see if you can free the filter ( If battery removal doesn't work ), and test again.

If NG, and less than one year old, you can contact Netgear support for possible warranty.

After this, not much else to do.
