Arlo how to get more out of the battery life

The batteries do not last long, can anyone give any advice on how to get more out of the battery life. I have changed 12 batteries in 6 months!

I'm guessing you actually have the original wireless cameras, not the Pro, which uses a proprietary rechargeable battery.

How many cameras are you talking?  12 batteries for one camera or for more? How many minutes total per day of recording and live viewing are you using? Spec life is 5 minutes per day or less.

I have 3 cameras (the original pro) but the batteries dont seem to last very long and the batteries are quite expensive.  Is there a setting on the cameras that allows me to extend the life of them?  I dont think I would recommend these cameras are they are expensive to run.

So can you get rechargable batteries?

First, there's little you can do to reduce battery drain other than to make sure they have a goo signal with the base and don't get more than 5 minutes total of recording and live viewing.

Second, Google the batteries - you can easily get them for $1.50-$1.75.

Last, there are Tenergy rechargeable batteries certified by Netgear for the original wireless cameras while the Pros come with rechargeables.
