Anyone else having continuing problems with the network interface of the Arlo base station? I have Arlo systems in two homes; one has functioned flawlessly, at the other one I've had two base stations that have failed because the network interface stopped working. So I've had to purchase two replacements.
Today I unpacked a 3-camera Arlo Pro system for another building and right out of the box the base station won't communicate. No network light appears. If I log into the router I see the Mac address of the device but it never asks for an IP address through DHCP.
Problem is this is the base of a 3 camera system. I had already unpacked all the cameras, mounts, hardware, power supplies and such. No real way to repack and send the whole mess back to Amazon. Since they don't know how to handle the replacement of just one bad component I'm stuck buying yet another base station (my 3rd replacement overall).
I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this as an issue. It seems to me that the network interface in the Arlo base station is a serious engineering fail for Netgear, which seems really odd for a network equipment company.

FWIW Arlo was spun off from Netgear last year.

Did you try doing a hard reset of the base station? Of course it shouldn't be necessary, but it's worth a try. https://kb.arlo.com/1057976/How-can-I-reset-my-Arlo-SmartHub-or-base-station-to-the-default-values
