Arlo Pro Sound Quality Degraded

I have a Arlo Pro I purchased a year ago. I use it outside. Recently I noticed that it does a lot of recordings but when I try to listen to the recordings the sound is not clear anymore. It sound very far off and hard to hear. Even when my neighbors dogs bark its not clear and sounds far away. Any suggestion on fixing the sound or is my sound gone

Have you tried to remove and replace the battery since it started acting up?
