Anyone know how to get the siren to an external speaker so you could have a speaker outside that would sound the alarm outside also.
Seem sorta limited to not have  away to wire the speaker to an outdoor sound speaker so when alarm goes off it would be outside also.
Thanks

You probably need a third party speaker and to use something like IFTTT or Smartthings

How would you hook it to the base unit?

Thanks LIndel

You wouldn't.  It would need to be triggered via software such as an IFTTT command.

Not with a direct wired connection. You can with a more complex home automation and app system

Sorry I dont know what that is. Is it a add on that someone would have to do for me or is it a part of the Arlo family?

How would one do it?

Google IFTTT and/or SmartThings for more information.  It's not part of Arlo systems other than the ability to interact with the appropriate hardware and software.  Basically, there's a separate controller in your home that can be configured through software to cause disparate devices to operate with each other.

Also check out Stringify. It incorporates IFTTT but adds a lot more features and abilities with a pretty easy to follow interface

here's something I'm thinking of trying as a work around... connect a wireless speak or wireless horn (if you can find wireless horn great)... using a karaoke center (that has blue tooth capability), you connect to the wireless speaker.  Leave your microphone on, near your base.  They make some small ones now ... in this way, anytime, the siren goes off, it plays through your wireless speaker... no smart home stuff to worry about.
