Hey everyone,
Is anyone else experiencing random offline issues with their Arlo Pro 2 after the latest firmware update? My cameras have been working fine for months, but recently they keep dropping offline several times a day, even though the Wi-Fi signal is strong and the base station is nearby.
I’ve tried rebooting the base, re-syncing the cameras, and even resetting the system—but the problem keeps coming back. Could this be a bug with the recent update or something else I'm overlooking?
Thanks!

I have one Pro (1) camera connected at the greatest distance of any camera here and it hasn't had any connection issues. Firmware updates may or may not cause this - it could just be coincidental. Check for other wireless devices that also use the 2.4GHz band near the camera or any place in that line-of-sight connection between camera and base/hub. You can also try moving the hub away from your router as far as practical to see if that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion! 😊 I’ll definitely check for other wireless devices using the 2.4GHz band and see if that’s causing any issues. Moving the hub farther from the router sounds like a great idea too—I'll give that a shot and see if it makes a difference. Also, I found this post that really helped me out: Firmware update on Pro 5 Really appreciate your help!

It would be useful to start your own thread and give us all details as to what devices you have, what you've tried and what you see.

I have the same issue with Arlo Pro 2 cameras. I think you are right about the firmware. I was on the phone with Arlo support but they couldn't help me. It seems that this was done in purpose to force people to subscribe with monthly fees. This is ridiculous. I'm thinking of switching to different security system.

What basestation are you using? Also, have you tried removing one camera and then adding it back on?

I’ve had issues with my essential outdoor cameras since the beginning of April. Contacted customer support several times they’ve had me remove the app and download the new version, then remove the cameras and re-add the cameras still nothing has helped. I have six cameras in all and never had an issue until beginning of April. Now, I have three cameras that keep going off-line. I paid $219 a year for all my cameras and still can’t get any satisfaction for three of the cameras that keep going off-line. I spent hours on the phone with tech-support and Arlo and still no satisfaction.
