Hi,

I have troubleshot the Arlo Pro Camera and it continues to not connect to the cloud? Do I need an active plan with Arlo? Has anyone had success without it?
Thanks

You're confusing the issue by stating both Pro and Go cameras. We need to know for sure which one you have.

It’s a Go sorry my mistake

The original Go cameras does not require a subscription - it comes with the free 7 day plan. It does require a SIM card with a cellular plan from the appropriate provider.

You can try this reset procedure:

Thankyou - we have tried all of this and still says cannot connect to cloud with the fast blinking amber light

Do you know which cell provider is supposed to be used? As I recall, there were different versions of the camera that required you use a SIM card for that provider - the cameras were unique to the provider.

not any certain providers it needs to be that I can see, we just have an Aldi sim that has worked in other cameras but not this one

The whole/specific model number, likely on the box and/or on a label inside the battery compartment, would help identify it.

I would think the AUS at the end of the model number would indicate that it was for the Australian market (not sure if it would also cover other countries such as New Zealand). @JamesC , @ShayneS , @BrookeN any suggestions relative to an appropriate SIM card?

You would need to use a Telstra sim, that is the sim that works for AUS.
