We have had Arlo Pro for almost 12 months now. Since the start of March geofencing has not been able to detect our devices, in particular the iphone 8. Previously it has worked with the iphone 8 (for about 4month now) but since March it has stopped. The geofencing can not find location even of the iphone 8 if the phone is in range or if it is clearly away from the base.

I have troubleshooted using the following techniques:
-restarted the base via the application
-delete additional user and re ad
- delete user and create another user with a different email
-restarted the app
-delete the app and re-install
- changed iphone user name to remove all characters and spaces

 

Can you suggest anything?

Software versions:
iphone 8 version IOS11.2.6
iphone 7 version IOS11.2.6

 

Arlo version 2.4.7 (updated 4 March)

 

It seems to eithre be iphone 8 problem or a arlo 2.4.7 problem due to the time line. 

 

Has anyone had thesame problem and found a resolution.

Engineering is currently aware of and investigating an issue with Geofencing that is affecting some users. I will provide an update as soon as I have more information.
