Has anyone figured out why the Arlo Pro stopped recording videos to library?

I've had the Pro, with 4 cameras working for about 5 years and suddenly stopped recording 3 days ago on May 10 at 1am.

 

-Live feed still works, so no issues with the cameras.

-System Mode is "Armed" -All camera rules are armed for audio and motion.

-I toggled between "Disarm" and "Armed". Still nothing.

-I Reset the base with the Pin hole button. Still nothing.

-I unplugged for a minute and repowered on. Still nothing.

-I dont have a Subscription, but this is the Pro which gets the free 7 days storage for "Life".

-Cameras are wired with full time power connection.

-I unplugged all cameras and plugged back in. Still Nothing.

Ok, I just read other posts, and Here is how to fix this.

Remove the Base Station device from your App, and then re-Add the base station and cameras like the first time installing.

This worked.

I had the exact same issue, but it stopped working on May 8th, 2024.  Like you, I tried all the options provided online and nothing has worked to resume the local recording.

No-one seems to be asking the question why that is. I smell a rat why one has to remove and onboard their cameras again.

Thank you for your info. It worked for us as we had the issue of our 3 cameras not recording for 3 days now.  Your solution worked!
