We've been having a lot of issues with our Arlo system lately. Mainly geofencing failures, but we've discovered a new issue.

The feed I get (both on the app and on web browser) is different to that of my wife's. She get additional clips coming through.

Both of us have full admin access to the system so there is no config difference.

Anyone seen this before?

BTW She is listed as having "Admin" access in the web portal. She can change modes, but can't change the criteria.

That gives her some controls, but as you found, not all of them.

If you want to give her full control, just have her use your account credentials.

Understood.  But did you double-check  the feed settings?

  • press on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the feed page
  • select "feed settings" from the pulldown

Make sure both "Event Types" and "Devices" are set to "All".

Are you saying you are both using the same credentials?

Shared accounts do NOT have full admin access, even if you used "grant access" when the cameras were shared.

I'm saying that I share access with my wife (invited her email address) and give her control over the system too.

In any case, why does she get more recordings than me, for the same cameras??

She shouldn't.

Have you double checked your feed settings?   They are persistent, so if you forget to go back and select all, then there will be recordings that you don't see.

Yep you would think. I have full and proper access to all cameras in the feed, as does she.

Also I have noticed that I will often get a notification of motion at a camera, but nothing then appears in the feed.

BTW She is listed as having "Admin" access in the web portal. She can change modes, but can't change the criteria.
