I have a Pro 4 set up to detect motion but not record. I do this for an inside motion sensor to turn on lights when it is in Standby Mode and only record when the system is in ArmAway. My issue is that I get multiple text notifications within one minute (sometimes more than 3 in 30 seconds). In ArmAway mode, while recording, I get one notification that there is motion and a recording until the motion stops. Is there a way to put a timed delay in motion notifications while in Standby so that I can reduce the number of motion notifications I get?

You can change the motion. sensitivity so that you do not get as many notifications. That may help with the amount of notifications you get.

I can try it but my first assumption is that it is no longer going to be useful as a motion sensor to turn on lights if I reduce the sensitivity.

Do you want to turn on the lights when a person enters the field of view (but not when small animals, etc enter it)?
If so, then I suggest using the motion detection test while you move around in the area of interest. Then you can find the smallest threshold that will detect you reliably.
Then use a threshold that is a bit larger in the camera rule(s) and see if that works for you.
