How do I use local storage?

I’m trying to use my local storage and not pay for a subscription, but the app. Keeps trying to get me to get a subscription. How do I get around this?

Do you have activity zones defined for any cameras? Those require either AC power to the camera or a subscription. Remove the zones and the prompt should go away.
