I recently got a Verizon for internet, it seems to be more of a hotspot Wi-Fi and now my cameras won't connect.

from what I've read, I now need to purchase a base station and Wi-Fi extender? Is that correct?

Does the hotspot have the capability for external devices to connect to it? Do you have the network name and password?

Yes, it has a place for a phone jack. And yes to the password and name, it's 5g

Have you removed your camera from the app and re-onboard via the new hotspot?

Yes, it would not recognize the hotspot on my app

Is the network hidden? Were you able to find the network and enter the password etc. At which point did the onboarding process fail in the app?

Yes, it found the network but when I scanned the QR code, after several minutes it said no cameras found.

Do you have punctuation/special characters in the network name or password?

If you do, then try removing them.

No, there aren't any punctuation or special characters in the password.

@lindseyaconway Do you happen to have the ability to change the WPA? If so we can try adjusting this to see if that helps. You can find more info here:
