Two of my 7 cameras are showing the "Your Arlo device appears offline," message, and have been for a while. I climbed the ladder to reconnect one of them; typing in my WiFi info & password, etc. It then tells me to press the sync button. I don't use my cameras with the batteries; it gets too cold here for that. My cameras are plugged in 24/7, and I no longer have the batteries. How am I supposed to pull the camera out & press the sync button if doing so will cause the camera to no longer be powered? I've tried searching for an answer and I can't find anything.

Try holding down the sync button with the camera powered from AC.

My issue is that I can't power the camera with AC and access the sync button. In order to access the sync button, I need to remove the camera from its housing. The cable connects to the housing, not the camera itself.

Sorry, I forgot that.
Obviously it was a mistake to get rid of all the batteries (instead you should have just set them aside). I don't think there is anything you can do at this point other than to try and purchase one. You might need to go with a third-party battery, as Arlo batteries seem to be in short supply at the moment.

I didn't have the batteries in them when I initially set them up.
