Purchased 3 Pro 4 cameras thru Amazon May 2021, they worked as advertised until just after the 3 month trial period in August, when all 3 cameras went offline. My fiber optic network is working just fine for 14 other devices.

Customer support has been cookie cutter and lackluster, asking me to repeat steps that are time consuming and not relevant.

An automatic firmware update was applied to the cameras just before they went offline.

Router reboot brings all 3 online briefly, but they show offline the next app opening.

 

Is this related to not having a subscription?

No.  You will lose features (Cloud storage, smart notifications, cloud activity zones, ...) w/o a subscription.  But the cameras should remain on-line, and you should be able to live stream them.
