Arlo Pro 4 XL - videos for night are grainy and barely visible.

I just bought my first Arlo Pro 4XL system and I am having issues with seeing videos at night. I have night vision on and HD. The camera is installed outside my house high up and nothing is in the way of the camera…no walls, etc. The videos for night are grainy and barely visible. What can I do to improve the quality of the video? If I can’t, this camera is useless to me. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Are the grainy videos in color?  If they are, try turning off the spotlight and color in "low light settings".

If that still is grainy, then you might need to add an IR floodlight to illuminate the field of view.
