I am also suffering from poor resolution / poor quality images. I wanted to create this discussion to share how disgusted i feel about buying the pro 4 when i knew i should have just stayed with my original configuration.
It feels awful to have subscription services pushed on upon us for simple peace of mind. I personally feel insulted having purchased the pro 4. But local recording is very expensive, especially when it comes to arlo systems.

What is poor about the quality you’re getting, resolution is likely correct on a big screen, just not that ideal on a mobile.
If the issue is related to motion quality, everyone gets that if they have an arlo camera, else you would have video lag all the time since they process video in the cloud and then in the arlo server back to your app.
Use the arlo web portal to see if improves.

@Mu15 Did you buy the Pro 4 because of the new EOL policy? FYI, JamesC let us know on another thread that Arlo posted an updated EOL today. Most importantly, they will continue to honor their 7 day free recording promise. And the EOL dates were pushed back a little on most devices. There's some other language in the updated policy about how EOL will be handled.
