The hub keeps going from solid blue to flashing amber. The cameras are indoors cause it was to cold outside and was getting low temp warning. I think the hub is losing connection with the cameras but not sure.

That sounds very much like a connection problem with at least one camera. Try moving one at a time to see if you can figure out which one is causing this.

Had this happening due to range of camera, fix was to move the hub away from my router by 10ft cable and issue was solved.
