This latest version update no longer refreshes the “Devices” page in the app with the latest camera session images. I now need to close the app completely and reopen it to see the latest Devices camera images. I am using iOS 18.5 and the problem occurs on my Apple iPhone 13 and also my Apple iPad 2020 both running iOS 18.5. Everything else works normally, including Feed via iCloud and local storage. I dread every Arlo Secure update release nowadays because the developers always seem to add new bugs with each update and/or their testing is inadequate. Very annoying!

Product Name: Arlo Pro 5S (VMC4060P) Question: I have 3 new Pro5s cameras that, as of this morning, are not updating the time stamp in the device view of the cameras. I had multiple alerts and those recordings showed the images and times correctly but the device views showed 15 hours ago and the old picture. Even when I had it display a live image and then closed it, it did not update the time to "now" as it has been doing previously.

problem with a software update?

Running the Arlo app on an iPad Pro, latest software.

Can you update and check the latest release 6.1.5 and let me know me know if it still occurs.

I have updated my iPhone and iPad to 6.1.5. I also uninstalled and reinstalled 6.1.5. I have rebooted my home wifi, and also tried switching to the cellular connection only but unfortunately all these trials still show the issue still persists. Notifications work normally and the Feeds record normally but the only way to get refreshed images after camera movement detection is to close the App entirely and reopen it but of course that is only a temporary workaround.

After this latest versions release 6.1.2(9617) the video thumbnails on the home screen of the iOS mobile app no longer show the most recent capture. In some cases the thumbnail displayed is from 1-2 days ago when there are dozens of more recent captures. Base station VMB4000r3 Pro 2 cameras.

I updated the Arlo app for iPad to 6.1.5. The issue appears to be resolved. Thanks.

Is there any further news about resolving this please? Updating to 6.1.5 did not fix the problem on either my iPhone or my iPad.

I agree with RTB-oz. I received changes when I upgraded my app to 6.1.5, but later realized the times in device view were not being updated; not when I did a live view and not when the camera was triggered. The device view doesn’t keep the image from the trigger either.

My Arlo Secure app isn't automatically refreshing with the latest camera images when I open it, only feed is working. Devices included are Video Doorbell 2nd Gen, 4x Camera Ultra and all connected to Arlo Ultra 2 Smart Hub.

My app version is 6.1.5 (9670) released Jun 13, 2025.

I did tried Uninstall and Reinstall the App, with no result.

Force Close / Relaunch, and/or Log Out and Log Back In many times,  with no result.

Reboot My iPhone Mobile Device,  and/or Reboot Arlo Base Station/Smart Hub, with no result.

Verified Internet Connection: My mobile device has a strong and stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or LTE). My Netgear Orbi Mesh 6 internet speed is more than meets the minimum requirements for Arlo streaming. And there are not signal interferences, since my equipment has been in used for many years. And the problems just started happened about more than few weeks now.

Please advise.

I see there is still no update on resolving this issue. Today I noticed that 6.1.6 was released and so rather hopeful that this update would include the bug fix, I updated. But alas, the problem still exists with this latest version. I even uninstalled and reinstalled 6.1.6 on both my iPhone and iPad but the issue persists.

Today I saw that 6.2.0 has been released so I upgraded. I also uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted but alas, this update didn’t fix the problem. This is very frustrating that the app developers seem unable to either fix this, or offer a solution or another explanation. It has now been two weeks and 3 version updates later and still no fix.

To experiment further, I tried factory resetting my hub as well as all my cameras and added them all back in. But this did not help. But I have since managed to find a workaround. If I add my cameras as widgets to the dashboard, I find that this solves the problem (at least for the widget images in the dashboard page that update after camera movement) but the Devices page thumbnail images still refuse to update after camera movement.
