The recent update v 5.0.3 has broken again the ability to close camera Feed, especially using an Apple iPad Pro using IOS 18.0.1. This is the same bug that afflicted v 4.17 that I reported previously. When I open Feed and view a camera recording, there is no option to close the Feed to return to the home screen! The only way is to exit the App entirely! This bug was fixed in updates after 4.17 but has been reintroduced in 5.0.3. Does anyone have a solution? I am rapidly losing faith in the App developers who don't seem to thoroughly test new versions before they are released. I have a similar problem running the App on my iPhone 13 running IOS 18.0.1. It takes several attempts to exit a Feed before it returns to the home screen. This is very frustrating.

Yes, that works! I always use landscape. Would never have thought to need to go to portrait simply to close the Feed view. Why doesnt the option exist to close from landscape?

I appreciate you providing that information. I have passed this onto our development team to investigate. I will update the community as soon as possible.

@RTB-oz if you go from landscape to portrait mode, does it give the option to close the app out?

I'm hoping the developers see this post. This issue began about 2 updates ago. I always use my Arlo app on my iPad Pro, viewing in landscape. When I view a feed and I want to go back to view other feeds, when I tap on the two arrows on the top right of the screen, it no longer reduces the video size and bring me back to the previous screen with the list of feeds. I have to turn my iPad to portrait mode and then I can tap on the arrow on the top left to bring me back. This is very annoying as I monitor 10+ cameras daily.

I have same issue. Although I didn’t know that rotating the iPad to portrait mode would bring up the minimize arrows. I set up 7 new cameras today, and this was pretty frustrating. Had to go back to the iPhone.

This is happening to me too, I posted about it last week. This is happening in landscape mode. The only way I found to get back to the Feed list is to flip the iPad to portrait. This is becoming extremely annoying. I'm constantly monitoring 10+ cameras each day and every time I view a feed, I have to flip my iPad to portrait. I have a lot of money tied up in Arlo products, so switching to Ring is not an option at this time, but very tempting.

Yes, it gives the arrow on the top left to allow me to go back to the previous screen. When in landscape mode, there are the two arrows on the top right. That icon used to bring me back to the previous screen, now when you tap that icon, the arrows flip the direction they are pointing and nothing else happens. I then have to flip to Portrait mode so I can go back to my feed list. Very annoying.

Anyone else find when they look at a recording on an iPad in full screen there is no back arrow to return to your library?
Ever since the new update when a notification came through on my iPad and you clicked on it showed up the recording but there was no way to close it back down other than exiting the app.
By accident I found rotating the iPad brings a back arrow up but reduces the video picture size, surely there must be away to close it whilst in full screen mode, it was never a problem before the update.

I think the arrow is there but it's white against the white background on android, so not sure on AppleOS. So, when I play my videos, I always touch the top left corner to finish. I'd complained on here that videos would continue to play - they now sorted this out - but you'd think they'd notice the the above issue. Obviously not because they do no testing of anything because we're the group of testers for them.

This has been a bug with the iPad for a while - I am guessing you were using a pretty old version of the app before.
The workaround is to view the video in landscape, but rotate to portrait when you want to go back.

Rotating iPad wasn’t easy when it is in a fixed stand, but the latest update seems to have solved the issue even though you have to minimise from full screen so 2 clicks rather than the one it used to be on the previous version.
