I have an amazon firetable 10hd (11 generation) I can no longer open the arlo app.  I get a message that I need to upgrade app.  I'm unable to upgrade the app.  I tried uninstalling the app & reinstalling it.  It does not upgrade.  I checked with Amazon, they said they do not have the newest arlo app version and suggested that the arlo app developer dept should be the one to get the information sent to Amazon with the new version.   I don't have the subscription with arlo so I can't contact them.  I'd like to know if others with amazon firetablet is able to open the arlo app and if so how did they upgrade it to the newest version.  thanks

The Arlo Secure app is no longer compatible with Amazon Fire devices. To continue using your Arlo system, please download the Arlo Secure app on a compatible iOS or Android mobile device or log in using the Arlo web client at https://my.arlo.com

Hello, when I open the Arlo app it says I have to update it, but when I try to do that I cannot because it shows it is already updated. I can’t use the app because it says it must be updated. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have installed the app from the Amazon app store on my tablet. I have also installed it by having it sent from the Amazon store. I have two different Fire tablets, this is happening on both. One is a Fire HD 10 (13th Generation), and the other is a Fire HD 10 (7th Generation). Please assist in solving this issue. Thank you.

More than likely you will no longer be able to use your tablets as arlo has pulled support for legacy mobile devices that are no longer supported with later platform updates, similarly with iOS platforms.

I am not sure what you are needing. An upgrade request on what device? We don't send upgrade requests to Amazon, can you provide more information on what you are needing assistance with.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have reached out to our development team to look into this. Please keep in mind that the Fire OS has to be 7.3.3.1 and higher.

I'm having the same problem w/ my Fire7 OS 7.3.3.1

I try to go to Amazon apps and asks "Continue to Amazon Appstore?"  I click continue.  It brings me to Arlo app and only thing I can do is "Open".  It then says "Your Arlo Secure app requires an update to continue". "Update Now". And it loops back to "Continue to Amazon Appstore?".

I can't update from googleplay as my kindle is not recognized by them.

I can get in from my computer.  Just not tablet which is what I use 99% of the time.

I just spoke with Amazon, they said arlo app is no longer available on the amazon app store.  Arlo app developer needs to add the arlo app to the amazon app store.  Can this information be passed on to the arlo app developer?  thanks

Let's wait to hear what Arlo has to say.

Looks like Arlo will lose a lot of customers using Amazon tablets

Again, Arlo is investigating.  If the answer was "we don't support Amazon tablets", then I think we'd have heard that already.  This sounds more like some confusion between Arlo and Amazon.

I am having same issue. I can no longer use my Arlo app on Amazon Tablet and therefore can't use the baby monitors i purchased a few years back. Is Arlo prioritizing fixing this as I will have to buy a new monitor if this is not fixed in the next day or so. Someone needs to update the app from Arlo via the Amazon fire tablet.

Why would you make it not compatible with Amazon Fire tablets with no warning? I would have to buy a new iOS or Android device for my cameras to function now. Is there a way to reverse this decision as it’s pretty disruptive.

That's stupid  , now everybody has to go out and buy new products for Arlo to work , no thanks
