I have an amazon firetable 10hd (11 generation) I can no longer open the arlo app. I get a message that I need to upgrade app. I'm unable to upgrade the app. I tried uninstalling the app & reinstalling it. It does not upgrade. I checked with Amazon, they said they do not have the newest arlo app version and suggested that the arlo app developer dept should be the one to get the information sent to Amazon with the new version. I don't have the subscription with arlo so I can't contact them. I'd like to know if others with amazon firetablet is able to open the arlo app and if so how did they upgrade it to the newest version. thanks

That has to be "official", since only Arlo could put the app there.
They even offered a discount on Fire HD tablets when they decided to drop the Arlo Baby touchscreen.
There used to be a KB article that gave app compatibility info for Fire HD tablets, but it must have been taken down.
IMO Arlo should have given people notice back when they decided to drop the platform, and not just wait for the old app version to finally break.
Although the Android app will work on the newer Fire tablets today, Amazon is saying that that might not be the case after August 20, 2025. There is some speculation that Amazon will replace Fire OS with "Vega", and that "Vega" will not be based on Android.

Hi,
I was able to update Arlo app by removing the app, installing google play store, reinstalling arlo app via play store. I found how to do with on you tube.
