I've had to wipe both sides of the connector on occasion.

You need to use the outdoor charger with the floodlight, the indoor charger won't work.

Check the connector on the camera first, and make sure it is properly seated. Also check that there is mains power at the outlet.
If you have another camera that can use your charger (pro 3, pro 4, Ultra, Go 2), then see if the charger can power that camera.

I am now having this issue (coincidentally, since the firmware update).
Arlo support suggested I replace the outdoor charge, which I did.
My floodlight shows the green charging icon, but the battery is being drained - down to %50 now.
I got fobbed off by support (again). I am insisting on an RMA or will take this up under consumer warranty, have had it for less than 3 months.
