I have an issue with the VMB4540 Base. When connected to my local LAN it initailly shows a blue LED after the boot phase but then switches to a flashing orange. I cannot install the base neither by using a PC/browser (connected via LAN) nor via app. Yes, it's the same network. Yes, internet connectivity from within LAN/WLAN is there. I already own the original Netgear Arlo bridge, which works fine.

Is this base already in your account?  If it is, you might try removing it, and resetting the base (using the reset pinhole), and trying again.

I spent more than 3 hours with arlo support on the phone while trying to get the VMB4540 online without success. Eventually support recommended to return the base and cameras and ask for a refund. This is very dissatisfying, of course.

I'd ask for a swap instead of a refund.
