Anyone ever get an answer to the difference between, say a H4 & H6 camera? Not our opinions and speculations, but an actual answer from Arlo? Also, is there a way to know ahead of purchasing what one is getting if there is any difference? Kind of like wine - may be the same release name from the same vineyard but does not always taste the same when one was bottled 199x-yr vs the same thing 200y-yr.

Not from Arlo but the difference is different hardware someplace due to lack of some components as the design ages as well as different components for reliability reasons. They all use the same software so nothing important is changing. You'll find the same thing in any electronic device that has revisions during product life.
