Hello, Camera will not record or detect motion . Live works . Any suggestions? Sometimes it randomly will start detecting but then when I change the battery it stops detecting.

Always check that motion detection is working correctly after changing the battery.

To fix, remove the battery again for 10sec and insert again. Resets the camera .

If that fails to resolve then perform a camera resync by momentarily pressing the base top sync button then do the same for the camera top sync button to resync the camera.

@Lalbe are you still seeing this same behavior?

Yes, Camera still will not detect motion.

First, confirm that you can make a manual recording while Livestreaming the camera.

If that still works, then try the motion detection test.  (Go into the camera settings -> default mode settings.  You'll find the test there).

I have the same problem with 2 Pro 2's.  I had cameras in standby for several months.  batteries were low, so i changed the batterys.  Now they won't detect motion.  the work in live mode, and i have tested for motion detection and the amber light flashes with motion.  But the cameras will not detect and record motion.

Have you double-checked the camera rules in the mode you are using?

Not sure what that mean?  i didn't do anything except change the batteries, and now they won't detect motion.  i have seen the occasionally over the years and if i put in a different battery, it always went back to working.  Not this time!

The mode you are using is selected on the dashboard.  It is shown in color, the other two are gray.

I am wondering if you have the system in "Standby" - which is the same as "Disarmed" in the old interface.

Another possibility (less likely) is that Arm Home and Arm Away are not set up to arm your cameras.
