At midnight all of a sudden my base is not working. Only the power light is on. I have unplugged it and nothing has reset it. And calling customer service is a joke.

It could be a hardware problem but start by rebooting your modem, router and base, in that order. If still only the power LED lit, contact support since that's the only way to get hardware support:
