I am currently looking at getting the VMS4230 (2 Camera solution) to place the camera's outside and get the Solar panels to help keep them charged.
Then 2x of the Arlo Q products as I can connect those inside next to power.
But can I get the camera's talking on an Orbi WIFI network? Just going at 2 different ends of the property and I do not think the base station will reach all 4 cameras.
Secondly the basestation will allow me to locally record right on all 4 cameras?

Yes.
I just updated my system with an Orbi system with the hub and two satellites. I have three Arlo base stations at various places in my house. Everything is working great. Remember that each base station must connect directly to the internet source with an ethernet cable, thus the two satellites at either end of my house.
The Pro base stations will record locally and there is no limit as to how many Arlo base stations you can have.
The Q cameras can plug directly into any satellite ot the router and don't need a base station.
