Arlo Pro 2 without battery

How do you use the Arlo Pro 2 without a battery? I plugged it in and removed the battery, but the app shows it as offline. I even rebooted the base station.

The camera should work fine without the battery if using the supplied ac adapter...

does for some reason need a re-sync ?

I wondered about that too. I am using the supplied adapter and cord that came with it. I pressed the sync button but it never came back up

Make sure the Base button is pushed Quickly, don't hold...

press the camera sync button
