One of my 5 Arlo Pro 2 cameras stopped working out of blue.  I thought the battery died so I switched another battery.  It still did not work.  This was the camera kept inside the house and it was also plugged in.  When I plugged the charger into the camera, the solid blue light appeared for 1 second before fast blink blue light for 2-3 seconds then it stopped responding.  Holding the sync button would not get any response from it.  The only time that LED light responds would be when it was first plugged in as described above.  Please help.

To manually sync the camera to the base station, momentarily press the base top button then momentarily press the camera sync button.

It's not that it desync. Even if I press the sync button, it would not blink slowly to pair like when i got this. Like I said, it stops responding to anything. It's not that it's disconnected from the base. I try to take battery out and wait 10 seconds too. It doesn't work. It's not syncing problem.

Ok so camera is not functioning except for the fast blinking blue for a few seconds after putting battery back in or plugging power back in.

Does the app say that the camera is offline or do you have some control like changing settings or live streaming?

It says offline completely. I tried to unpair by remove it from base. But doing so, I couldn't link it back since it doesn't respond to sync button.

Can you try using a pc web browser to access the arlo web portal as the mobile app may have problems. Pc needs to be on your local network.

I can;however, what should I do when the camera does not even respond to allow me to sync it to base?

You would need to add new device on the web portal since you removed the camera from your account.
I expect the camera would need to see a authentic request from the Base station before it would sync.
Sometimes rebooting the base station will fix it or using the web portal does, I have no insight to explain only evidence of reporting here on the forum.

OK I just tried as you guided. But the camera did not respond. It would not blink slowly to let me know that it is ready to sync. No response. Nothing. Even when I plug it in to make sure it is not power related issue.

The only recommendation I can give is to locate the camera near the base station with external power attached and wait for the camera to fully charge. Should only take an hour or so.
Then try resync again.

I have tried this many times including changing the battery but the camera still wouldn't respond. I'm pretty disappointed with how it just stopped working altogether. The only thing now is opening it up to see if there's any dead component.

It suggests the camera is at fault, it might have died during a firmware update or just gave up.

Good luck with finding a faulty component or getting replacement parts.

You might have better luck with buying a second hand camera from eBay unless you want to buy a newer camera that requires subscription to have same functionality.

it happens the same to me.  The only difference is that all the arlo pro 2 h5 stopped working at same time and all the arlo pro 2 h3 still work.

can you check if it is the same case?

@rleonanaya

The Pro 2 cameras appearing offline are connected to the same base station that also appears to be offline. Have you checked this base station to see if you can reboot it?
