I have a camera that when plugged in to power, shows that it is charging. After a few hours, I receive a fault that it is unable to charge. I can unplug it and plug it back in, and it shows that it's charging, but again, after a few hours, it faults. I have tried different cables, I even purchased a brand new one directly from Arlo and it does exactly the same thing. I even tried cleaning the contacts on the USB mirco plug.

Sorry - you bought a brand new what? Battery? Camera? Charger?
This could be a battery (damaged cell?) or camera (charging circuit overheat?) issue.

I bought a new charger. The battery does charge to 100% but after that, the fault occurs. One thing I haven't done is to try switching out the battery. I'll try that next.
