Arlo Pro 2 Won’t Begin Syncing Process

I am having issues syncing a new Arlo apro 2 base/camera set. 

Background: I have had an original arlo for about 1 year, working fine with 4 cameras. Wife decided to add new cameras, so I decided to get the new Arlo Pro 2 with 4 cameras. We would use all 8 cameras with the new Arlo Pro 2 base station. I upgraded the account to the 10 camera account and began syncing the Pro 2 cameras.  Got 2 cameras synced.

Issue: the last 2 Pro2 cameras and all 4 of the Arlo wire free cameras will not sync to the new base station. 

Pro2 #3 will start the syncing process (slow blue flash after 2 sec press of the sync button) but will not complete the sync.

Pro2 #4 will not even start the syncing process. The blue light will flash when I plug it in but it will not slow flash after pressing the sync button. I have tried it with just the battery, battery and charge plug, just the charge plug, and after having it stay plugged in to insure the battery was at 100%.

As for the original Arlo wirefree cameras... I removed the original base but did not remove each and every camera from the system before removing the base... now the cameras appear to be attempting to connect but do not complete the sync.  I tried to resync the old base to try to remove he old cameras from it but it seem to reset the base when I removed it originally so the base does not think the old cameras are connected.

I need some help!

The new base stations often will not sync by pressing the button for 2 seconds. Just give it a quick push and the same on the cameras.

Secondly, did you remove the wire free cameras from the original base before trying to add them to the new one?
