Ever since the new software update to Arlo Pro 2 on our laptop (Windows 8.1), we can no longer see activity on our security cameras in live view. The program asks for a newer version of Adobe Flash Player. Flash player is integrated with IE in windows 8. I have the latest version of Flash player on our laptop. Don't know what to do next. Don't want to use Chrome. Anyone have any ideas? I read from some of the other posts that Netgear is working on the problem.

Thanks for the message. When I go to the site you suggested, I get the message,"flash player is integrated with IE in Windows 8. You do not need to install flash player." So, I believe the problem is with the new software version that Netgear loaded in my laptop (2.6.0.937_24489). All works fine on my iPhone and our desktop computer.

Called tech support almost a week ago. Was assigned a case number. I could not convince the support person that the problem is with their new version of software. Said I would be contacted within 24 hours to help solve the issue. No response yet. Like I said earlier, the software works fine on my iphone and Windows 7. Does not go live view using Windows 8.

There haven't been many complaints about W8 but I suspect it may be the same issue as with W10 and IE/Edge - a recent MS update is causing problems. Use of Chrome or Firefox works fine.
