Did i missunderstand when purchasing this unit? I cant have it set to motion detection. I need it to record 24/7 and have a security officer watch the video live if i need to. This camera is pointed at a cash drawer and motion detected would be sending alerts every other second, all day long. I really hope there is a setting i can use to do this, or this great little system will have to be returned.

These cameras are really designed as " motion detect then record " ...

they really don't do 24/7 unless you purchase the CVR option, so they may not suit your needs
