Arlo Pro 2 - If I Use Solar Panels Does That Perform As If Running On A/C?

If I use solar panels does that perform as if running on a/c? I want to use features that running on a/c but not batteries.

The solar panels are just trickle chargers for the battery. They don't provide enough current to run the camera which is needed for the AC powered features. Besides, nighttime would be an issue.
