Hello:
I have an Arlo Pro 2 base station and a PNY 2.0 Attache 64 GB flash drive. I am curious if anyone else has had an issue with their USB drive overheated to a point they melted. The drive is properly ventilated when plugged into the base station.
Thanks
Brad

Whoa! No, my 16GB drive is nice and cool, as expected. It could be power supplied from the base or the drive itself. Plug a different drive in and closely monitor the temp. I suspect it will be fine.

bmwalker1989,
What piece of hardware was damaged, the usb drive or the base station or both? If possible, reach out to me in a private message with your account details and I will open and escalate a case on this for further investigation.

That is what I have done, I have placed a different flash drive into the base station to eliminate the base station causing the issue. I reached out to the manufactuer about the flash drive and they will be sending me a replacement drive.
