Try rebooting the base and reinserting the camera battery. If that doesn't help, bring the camera closer to the base to see if it works then. If so, it's the camera location that's the issue. This could be due to signal strength and/or quality which may be resolved by moving the base away from the router and/or finding a different location for the camera that still provides the coverage you need.
