Arlo Go Not Working Properly after Phone Software Update

My phone did a software update and I immediately noticed the Arlo app looked different.  I then discovered that I don't always receive notifications when the camera records a video, and the camera doesn't always record video when motion is detected.  The camera and app worked flawlessly prior to the update.  The Arlo app shows it is version 2.5.4 released on June 6, 2018 and the phone is an I-phone 6 with IOS 11.4.  Any recommendations?

Dihlon,

 

Consider rebooting your camera by removing and reinserting the battery. Allow the camera to come online and test to see if you still experience the same behaving.

I have since changed batteries and it did not help.  Sometimes if I change a camera setting i.e. motion/audio sensitivity, it will start working again.
